My name is Erik Evans, I was born and raised in the Victory neighborhood of Minneapolis and raised by a hockey family. I grew up skating on outdoor rinks, playing for my local high school, onto two years of juniors in British Columbia, and eventually playing college hockey at Iowa State University. Most recently, I spent a year coaching as a head coach in an organization based out of Oslo, Norway.
My hockey career has taken me to a lot of amazing places and pushed me out of my comfort zone. Those life experiences and exposure to other cultures made me realize how fascinating everyone’s journey through life is. That sparked an interest in storytelling in me to both discover new places and capture what makes them truly special.
Everyone has a unique story. I’d love to help tell yours.
